by AutoExpert | 20 October, 2021
Today's topic is a Chevrolet Silverado inspired by the film "Smokey and the Bandit." Chevrolet Silverado RST Crew Cab-based model, which will make its public premiere at SEMA next month, was designed in collaboration between Saleen and Legendary Concepts.
It'll include a custom widebody kit, and also an aerodynamics kit that comprises a front splitter, side skirts, and a rear spoiler, according to reports.
There isn't much more information at this time, but we do know that the Chevrolet Silverado truck will have enormous wheels wrapped in Toyo tires and be equipped with an eight-piston Brembo brake system. Magnaflow exhaust and a supercharged 5.3-liter V8 with over 700 hp (515 kW / 710 PS) will be standard on the vehicle. The new Chevrolet Silverado will be unveiled as part of the Toyo Tires Treadpass presentation at SEMA.
Many additional vehicles will be on display, including a 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 with a custom wide body modification and a twin-turbo motor. Gordon Ting will also be displaying a Lexus LC 500 Convertible with a carbon-fiber roof cover, titanium exhaust, adjustable suspension, and other features. A modified 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer and a 1986 Nissan 300ZX are among the other attractions.
