VW Eos could be taken out of production.

The decision comes after 2013 was a weak year for the German convertible with only 8,000 copies produced. The idea of developing a new generation has been completely abandoned; the costs of such a decision are being too large and difficult to fill.

Since 2011 VW Eos has faced serious competition, coming directly from within the company: we refer to the Golf Cabriolet and Beetle Cabrio models somewhat affordable price and with a strong personality. Therefore, Volkswagen will have in its models range a smaller number of compact convertibles.
