Currently, Volkswagen is working on a slew of electric vehicles. The guys from CarBuzz just found a new trademark registration with the EUIPO that discloses the name of one of these forthcoming ID-branded electric vehicles.
VW registered the name "ID.7 Tourer" for a production model of the magnificent ID.Space Vizzion Concept from 2019 on May 17, 2022. Previous speculations suggested that Volkswagen will utilize the ID.7 designation for its next electric sedan, called the Aero B.
The Aero B will have a fastback silhouette, whilst the ID.7 Tourer will most likely be a traditional station wagon. The Aero B is expected to surpass VW's existing EV criteria for range, charging speed, and efficiency. It is anticipated to come with over 400 miles of range on the WLTP cycle, over 200 kW charging, and 0-60 mph acceleration in less than five seconds.
Of course, the manufacturing version may have different figures. An AWD version of the ID.7 would have a total output of 335 horsepower, significantly over the ID.4's maximum of 296 horsepower.
