Volkswagen launches the new Passat Alltrack!

And why not? If Audi has enjoyed success when it launched the A6 Allroad, then the same formula can be applied to Volkswagen models, particularly the new Passat, which is one of the highly regarded automobiles of the German car manufacturers.
Volkswagen decided to confer a touch of practicality and versatility to its new Passat B8. Top features, efficient engines, modern technology, and a touch of "adventure".
Compared to Passat Variant, the Alltrack boasts a ground clearance of up to 27.5 mm high, not too much, but apparently sufficient enough to avoid obstacles on a country road. And to give you more security in the escalation of tough roads, the Germans fitted the car with all-wheel drive and plastic protective elements on the body. You cannot say that it is a genuine off-roader but your psychological comfort is assured! Moreover, engineers have worked on suspension and added passive and active safety systems such as automatic braking in curves thanks to a "smarter" ABS system.
The engine range remains common to the Passat B8 and includes units capable of producing 150 to 240 in diesel version! The new Volkswagen Passat Alltrack will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, followed by mass production.
