Volkswagen ID.5 GTX Xcite Concept Is An Aggressive And Eco-Friendly SUV

Volkswagen's latest concept vehicle, the ID.5 GTX Xcite, was designed by a group of 14 young engineers. The concept's military vibe comes courtesy of a combination of Lamborghini and Volkswagen's matte and glossy finishes.
The 22-inch forged aluminum wheels complement them with their unique style and powder coat. Additional modifications include new fenders and wheel arches.
As far as we can tell, the side skirts have also been expanded. Inside, Alcantara and vegan leather are used for almost everything, even on the steering wheel. Differentiating elements include orange contrast stitching, honeycomb seat embellishments, and stitched backrests.
The cherry on top is the high-end audio system with parts from Gladen, Musway, and Bang & Olufsen. Volkswagen claims that the ID.5 GTX Xcite is equipped with 10 amplifiers, a subwoofer, and a total output of 2000 watts. The concept also includes a color-matching Teamgee H5 electric skateboard.
The 82 kWh battery pack powers the dual-motor AWD system, which produces 295 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. With this arrangement, the ID.5 GTX Xcite can sprint from 0-62 mph in 6.3 seconds, reach a peak speed of 112 mph, and travel up to 304 miles on a single charge.
