Isuzu has introduced an updated version of the D-Max in Thailand, bringing a range of improvements. The facelifted Isuzu D-Max now boasts a refreshed exterior with a redesigned grille, new headlights, including Bi-Led technology in high-spec trims, and revised bumper intakes.

At the rear, a new tailgate with an integrated spoiler and updated taillight graphics adds a touch of modernity. The D-Max V-Cross 4×4 trim stands out with extra plastic cladding around the grille, an aluminum-style skid plate, wide fender extensions, matte black 18-inch alloy wheels, and other rugged enhancements.

Inside the cabin, the dashboard retains a familiar layout but gets new trim options and upgraded technology. A 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with touch-sensitive buttons and physical knobs for volume and tuning is complemented by a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. USB-C ports have been added for both front and rear passengers, and a new key with remote engine start functionality enhances convenience.

While the powertrain options appear unchanged, with two four-cylinder turbodiesel engines, the D-Max aims for improved 4x4 performance through enhanced electronics. The addition of a terrain mode assists in demanding off-road scenarios by controlling braking and engine RPM. Safety features now include an ADAS camera with heating for cold weather and an expansion of adaptive cruise control to manual versions.

The 2024 Isuzu D-Max is set to hit the market in Thailand on October 12, with a gradual rollout in other global markets. Pricing starts at $14,551 for the base model in Thailand and goes up to $33,876 for the flagship V-Cross 4×4 trim. Isuzu's D-Max enjoys widespread popularity, particularly in Thailand, where it accounts for a significant portion of its global sales, which reached 340,000 in 2022.
