Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Matte Black Edition Is Now Available In Japan

A brand new Matte Black Edition of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is now available for purchase in the Japanese market. Even though it doesn't offer any performance improvements, the new Matte Black Edition gives the SUV a more edgy look.
The grille, the grille insert, the fog light bezels, and the headlight garnish are all given a matte black finish by Toyota. Six-spoke 18-inch matte black aluminum wheels are also included in the package.
The aged vehicle still requires a complete makeover, so these upgrades have little effect. The Land Cruiser Prado is only offered in two colors: white and black. The engine of the SUV does not change as a result of the new edition, and it looks like buyers will still have the option of purchasing either the 201-horsepower 2.8-liter diesel engine or the 163-horsepower 2.7-liter gasoline engine.
A six-speed automatic transmission distributes the power to all four wheels. Prices range from ¥4.3 to ¥5.1 million ($32,662 to $38,739) for Toyota's Land Cruiser Prado Matte Black Edition. To put that in context, the Land Cruiser Prado is comparable to the Lexus GX sold in the United States. It is a little less ruggedly constructed and smaller than a normal Land Cruiser.
