The VW Caddy Panamericana Van Crossover Will Make Its Debut In The SUV Area In 2022

In February 2020, Volkswagen released Caddy’s fifth generation in commercial and passenger models. Now the line is expanded by adding a more daring version, the Caddy PanAmericana. PanAmericana replaces the Caddy Alltrack of the previous generation and makes both passenger and cargo short-wheelbase models more stylish.
The title PanAmericana derives from the Alaska route to Tierra del Fuego. It aims to highlight the more robust character of this passenger car. The new design includes an unpainted plastic cover for the bumpers, wheel arches, and sills with a body-colored bar below the front grid to distinguish it from the Caddy original model. It also has a protected underbody, PanAmericana badging, LED lighting, roof bars, and a pair of bi-tone 17-inch alloy wheels.
The inside is equipped with Pinestripe seats, a multi-function steering wheel, aluminum pedals, the inscription of the PanAmericana, and silver doorplates. It also incorporates a Style trim digital cockpit with a digital instrument panel and a 10-inch central multimedia touchscreen.
Vans took a great deal to satisfy the rigorous safety standards of automobiles, and the Caddy is no exception. It comes with up to 19 features including semi-autonomous driving assistance.
The Caddy PanAmericana by MQB is offered in two variants, 101 hp (75 kW / 102 hp) and 121-hp (90 kW / 122-hp) with either 1.5 TSI gasoline engine generating 113 kW / 114 PS (84 kW / 114 horsepower) or the 2.0 TDI diesel engine. Excluding the less powerful diesel, all engines are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and are also available with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.
The power is delivered to the front wheels, but an optional 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system is available with the top-of-the-line 2.0 TDI for customers who want to use the Caddy off-road. Towing capacity is up to 1.5 tonnes depending on the specification, with a maximum load of up to 679 kg for the commercial version and up to 525 kg for the passenger version.
Order the new VW Caddy PanAmericana now! You’ll need to pay €32,207.35 ($38,213.99) and up for the all-wheel-drive manual diesel and start at €38,460.80 ($45,633.70) for the all-wheel-drive automatic diesel.
