The Unreal GR Supra Sport Top Will Debut At SEMA

Toyota intrigued us with the GR Supra Sport Top concept a year ago. Lovers of The Fast and the Furious will recognize the targa top as a nod to the A80 or Mk.4 generation. There have been a few more hints since then, but Toyota's revelation at the 2021 SEMA Show, occurring this week from November 2-5, has simply changed that.

Because a show could not be held because of the pandemic, the Supra Sport Top was presented online in support of SEMA.

Toyota, on the other hand, decided that GR Supra Sport Top merited a thorough revelation. The targa-topped sports car, while being a year old, certainly looks magnificent. The GR Supra Heritage Edition, a 500-hp throwback concept shown at SEMA 2019, will back it up.

The two will be on show together at the same time in Central Hall at booth 24800, as part of Toyota's presentation. Building the structure was far more complicated than anyone expected, but the end result is gorgeous and definite.
