The Golden Beast: Manhart Transforms The BMW M5 With The MH5 800E
by AutoExpert | 22 October, 2024
The BMW M5 may have just hit the streets, but Manhart isn’t wasting any time, already teasing their upcoming upgrade package for the model. Dubbed the MH5 800E, this treatment promises to enhance the M5 with performance, visual flair, and a more dynamic chassis setup.
On the power front, Manhart plans to tweak the twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 while leaving the electric motor untouched, pushing the output from an already impressive 717 hp up to a staggering 789 hp.
Manhart's signature styling upgrades are revealed in their official renderings of both the G90 sedan and G99 Touring versions of the M5. Their vision includes a redesigned front splitter, sportier side skirts, a bolder rear diffuser, and a larger rear spoiler. For those seeking even more visual impact, a carbon-fiber hood will be available as an option.
As for the wheels, the BMW M5 will sit on Manhart’s Concave One rims, featuring six double spokes finished in silk-matte black with gold detailing, perfectly matching the gold decal set against the sleek black bodywork seen in the renderings. To enhance the car’s stance and handling, Manhart will offer a new suspension setup that lowers the ride height, giving the M5 a more aggressive, planted feel on the road.
Spacers will also be available to further align the new wheels with the car’s wide fenders. While details on the pricing for the MH5 800E are still under wraps, it’s clear that this upgrade will take the BMW M5 to the next level both in terms of power and style.
