The First 50 Peugeot 408 Buyers Get A Plethora Of Extra Features And Options
by AutoExpert | 13 October, 2022
To celebrate the launch of the innovative Peugeot 408 crossover in the UK, the carmaker is producing 50 First Edition cars that are loaded with additional features. The 50 vehicles are based on the 408 GT model, which already has a long number of premium features.
Nevertheless, they add 20-inch Monolithe diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 7.4 kWh on-board charger for the plug-in hybrid motor, and a Driver & Passenger Seat Pack to the list of standard amenities. This special edition also has Alcantara upholstery, heated seats with electronic adjustment, and a massage function with five settings.
Those who purchase one of the first fifty crossovers will also get a £500 public charging credit via Octopus Energy's Electroverse network, a four-year, 40,000-mile service package, and a Pod Point home charging unit at no additional cost.
The exterior of each First Edition 408 is finished in a unique shade of Obsession Blue metallic paint, but other than that, the interior and mechanicals remain unchanged from the GT model. These include the i-Cockpit dash and modest steering wheel, as well as the 1.6-liter petrol engine and electric engine that produce a combined 222 horsepower and power the front wheels.
The carmaker will launch a totally electric Peugeot 408 model within a year, joining the other variants powered by conventional combustion engines. The price of Peugeot's limited-edition automobile is said to be £43,250.
