Mercedes-Benz motorcoaches like the Tourrider Business and Tourrider Premium are built to  serve the needs of the North American market. Mercedes-Benz Tourrider coaches have been designed expressly for business and first-class travel on the ground.

Once you include the energy-absorbing bumper, Mercedes-Benz Tourrider coaches are 45 feet 8 inches (13.92 meters) long, which means that even passengers who use wheelchairs will have plenty of space inside, due to a lift and two areas designated for those with special needs.

Once inside, guests will be pampered with luxurious seating options available through the Tourriders. Mercedez-Benz Travel Star Eco seats are standard on the Tourrider Business. Meanwhile, the Tourrider Premium is outfitted with Travel Star Xtra seats with luxe fabric, Mercedes' best coach seating. Mercedes is Europe's largest bus seat maker.

The Tourrider's operators can choose from a variety of fabrics, hues, decorative items, topstitching, piping, or other seating options that are both elegant and easy to maintain. Travelers will also have access to two USB or 110V outlets located in the center of each double seat.

There are extra LED ambient lighting strips that may be fitted between the luggage racks or under the window sills for nighttime journeys. However, if passengers prefer to gaze up at the stars, the Tourrider Premium has an optional panoramic glass roof.

A strong 35 kW air conditioning system ensures passenger comfort regardless of the weather conditions.
Modern Mercedes wouldn't be complete without innovative driver assistance technologies like optional radar-based Sideguard Assist with pedestrian recognition. It informs the driver of moving or stationary objects. The same mechanism that enables automated emergency braking also makes it possible for radar-guided cruise control.

A six-cylinder inline motor powers it all. This engine has 12 cylinders and produces 450 horsepower (457 PS/336 kW) and 1,550 lb-ft (2,300 Nm) of torque. The body constructed for aerodynamics saves fuel.
