The 2024 Cadillac XT4 Stands Out From The Crowd
by AutoExpert | 21 February, 2023
Cadillac has unveiled the facelifted version of its XT4 crossover, which will be available in the summer of 2023. The new 2024 model features updated styling elements, such as a modernized grille, new lighting units with LED turn signals, vertical daytime running lights, new wheels, a revised color palette, and a lightly revised rear end with new reflectors and exhaust. The Sport variant has a more aggressive fascia, different wheels, and dark highlights.
In addition to the exterior updates, the new 2024 Cadillac XT4 has also undergone significant changes in the cabin. The previous analog gauges and 8-inch display have been replaced with a modern Lyriq-inspired cabin.
The centerpiece of the new cabin is a large 33-inch curved display with a 9K resolution that is highly customizable. The display is integrated with Google services, including Google Maps, Google Assistant, and apps from Google Play. Other new features in the XT4 include a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. These changes represent a significant step forward for the XT4, bringing it up to date with the latest technology available in the automotive industry.
The 2024 Cadillac XT4 also comes with new color and trim options. The Luxury models feature piano black trim with laser etching, while the Premium Luxury variants offer genuine wood or aluminum trim. The Sport models take things up a notch with carbon fiber or wood trim. In terms of safety, the Cadillac Smart System is now standard and includes features such as front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, rear cross-traffic braking, and blind zone steering assist.
Lane keep assist with lane departure warning, a rear seat reminder, and IntelliBeam automatic high beam headlights are also included in the new 2024 Cadillac XT4. These safety features add to the overall appeal of the vehicle for buyers looking for a stylish and safe crossover.
Although the new XT4 comes with various advanced features, it does not include Super Cruise, Cadillac's hands-free driving technology. However, Cadillac has confirmed that the technology will be added to the XT4 in the future, but there is no news on the timeline yet.
The powertrain of the 2024 XT4 remains unchanged, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The XT4 is also available with an optional all-wheel-drive system.
There is no information yet on the price of the new XT4, but it is expected to be announced closer to the launch date. The previous model was priced at $36,295 before the destination charge, and it is expected that the updated model will be priced similarly.
