Tesla Stations Will Charge Honda EVs From 2025
by AutoExpert | 11 September, 2023
The Japanese have partnered with Tesla, so starting in 2025, Tesla charging stations will be compatible with Honda's electric vehicles. This partnership only applies to the United States and Canada.
This contract is only applicable to Japanese automobiles sold in the United States and Canada. Similarly, the first Honda EV to feature a charger compatible with Tesla's will not be available until 2025. It will be an SUV built on exclusive technology.
The Honda Prologue and ZDX, built on General Motors' Ultium architecture, will feature built-in CCS charging connectors. However, corporate representatives claim that NACS ports will be installed in 2025 or 2026. In the future, when the Japanese have perfected a CCS-NACS adaptor, this deal will benefit Honda owners all around the world.
To refresh your memory, Tesla charging stations may also be used to charge vehicles from Ford, General Motors, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Fisker, and Rivian.
