Take A Close Look Inside The 2024 Skoda Superb And Kodiaq

The upcoming Skoda Superb and Kodiaq models are giving us a glimpse of their fresh new dashboards, and the star of the show is undoubtedly the expansive display at the center. Accompanying this high-tech centerpiece are a handful of old-fashioned buttons.
Flanking the main display are three rotary dials, each cleverly equipped with its own built-in screen measuring 1.25 inches diagonally. These displays, called Smart Dials, offer easy access to various settings.
The rotary dials on the outer edges are responsible for controlling the interior temperature and managing the seat heating/ventilation for both the driver and the front passenger. Meanwhile, the middle dial steps up to the plate with a range of functions. It's your go-to for adjusting the volume, controlling fan speed, directing the airflow, handling the smart AC system, and selecting different driving modes.
Moving on to the infotainment realm, both the 2024 Skoda Superb And Kodiaq models come equipped with a sizable 13-inch touchscreen. The duo also sports a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and if you're up for it, you can even opt for a head-up display.
Now, one significant change from the outgoing models is the relocation of the gear selector. Skoda decided to move it up to the steering wheel column, which not only declutters the space between the front seats but also opens up more storage possibilities.
When it comes to design differences, the Superb takes on a sleek look with vertical fins on the dashboard and discreetly hidden air vents. On the other hand, the Kodiaq is adding a touch of luxury with extra leather on the passenger side of the dash and some stylish vertical vents.
Both rides come ready with a handy USB-C port tucked into the rearview mirror and wireless charging capabilities for your smartphone. The Kodiaq takes things up a notch with active cooling for not one, but two devices.
Likewise, Skoda made sure there was a special spot in the front door to stash an umbrella. The features don't stop there; up to four USB-C ports are onboard, as are an ice scraper, massaging seats, and upholstery that's been crafted entirely from recycled polyester. While everyone's waiting eagerly, these new Superb and Kodiaq models are expected to make their grand entrance in 2024.
