SsangYong Previews The Torres SUV

The Torres, SsangYong's upcoming SUV, has been revealed in a series of drawings. The Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, renowned for its mountains, lakes, and rivers, inspired the title. SsangYong intended to convey the Torres SUV's daring attitude.
The Torres will be the first vehicle to bear the new "Powered by Toughness" design. Skinny LEDs, a Jeep-style grille, robust skidplates on the bumpers, and a dip on the tailgate are among the stylistic elements.
The Torres SUV, according to a SsangYong representative, will serve as a bridge between semi-medium SUVs like the Korando and huge SUVs like the Rexton. SsangYong expects that by introducing a new segment, it will be able to grow its customer base by profiting from the growing demand for SUVs.
Starting in June, SsangYong plans to begin taking orders for the Torres in Korea. The U100, a purely electric version of the SUV, will be delivered in Europe by the end of 2023.
