The rear spoiler of the V10 engine which generates a down force four times higher than the LP560-4 and the engine cover that can be removed completely due to a rapid clip system, the latter two being realized both from a material that is based on carbon fiber, present also at many other components of the supercar - such inventiveness of engineering are the most distinctive components of the latest version of the Gallardo, the Squadra Corse is famous because it is the most successful Lamborghini model ever. The Squadra Corse's total mass (the name comes from the newly established department within the company Automobili Lamborghini that will handle everything that is related to the motorsport activities, from GT3 and to the above mentioned Lamborghini Balncpain Super Trofeode) is 1340 kg, which means 2.35 kg per horsepower produced. The dynamic performances do not remain unnoticed either: from 0 to 100 kmph in only 3.4seconds and 200 kmph in only 10.4 seconds, the edge of speed being marked theoretically until 320 kmph.
The V10 engine develops 570 hp is fully available at 8,000 rpm. The steps are changed by a robotic box with six reports which promises to be faster than any driver. The new version Gallardo, specifically designed to bring the excitement of live racing circuit directly on public roads, will be officially presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
