Skoda has publicly revealed a police-specific version of the Fabia. Along with the Kodiaq vRS, the completely electric Enyaq iV, and other variants, the model is the most recent addition to Skoda's emergency vehicles. According to Skoda, police departments have been using the Fabia since the first generation.
The newest model is billed as the "ideal beat car" for police departments across the United Kingdom. In comparison to its predecessors, the latest Skoda Fabia is bigger, safer, and more outfitted.
It also comes with four petrol engines, ranging from 79 horsepower (80 PS) to 148 horsepower (150 PS) for the most capable 1.5 TSI unit. The latter uses a 7-speed DSG gearbox to provide power to the front axle, allowing for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of 8 seconds and a peak speed of 225 km/h (140 mph).
The blue and yellow paintwork, as well as roof-mounted lighting equipment, extra flashing LEDs on the grille and bumper, and a siren, were all included in the police car makeover. Skoda has incorporated the emergency services communication platform into the infotainment system's 9.2-inch touchscreen, with the driver also connecting directly to the 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument panel. Furthermore, the five-star EuroNCAP rating, 9 airbags, and optional ADAS demonstrate that Skoda Fabia is safe enough.
