NEVS company that owns Saab, presented the official images of the 2014 generation 9-3 Aero, the model returned to production. Compared to Saab 9-3 facelift launched in 2011, the currently 9-3 comes with other logos, where the Griffin and Saab logo are no longer present on the 2014 generation midsize sedan manufacturer from Sweden.
The reason of Saab griffin logo disposal is related to the rights of using the old logo, which NEVS failed to buy them from Scania. Under the hood we can see a 2.0 turbo engine, which delivers 220 HP and this is available for a manual or an automatic transmission. Regarding the model, Nevs personnel worked two and a half years to develop its own platform for 9-3, which will not infringe the intellectual property of General Motors Corporation.
The new Saab 9-3 will appear on the Swedish market from 10 December with a starting price of 279,000 kronor, equivalent to 31 510 euro.
