Revamped 2024 Ford Edge Hybrid Is Unveiled In China
by AutoExpert | 16 December, 2022
Official Chinese reports give us our finest look at the next Ford Edge Hybrid. The new 2024 Ford Edge seems to be a major improvement over the previous generation due to its modern, streamlined design.
The Edge's design was previously shown off in August, and the hybrid version will appear identical to the ICE-only variants. The result is a larger grille with a chrome brow line that extends over the headlights.
The new 2024 Ford Edge's design is a drastic departure from the outgoing model; the car now has sleeker, more contemporary lines that give it a more respectful appearance. And most noticeably, the Edge is now 4.8 inches longer than its predecessor. A length increase to 197 inches should improve interior space.
Sadly, no interior images have been released. The 2.0-liter gas engine and an electric motor in this model provide the necessary propulsion. They add up to a total of 271 horsepower, which is around 30 more than the previous generation. Ford's new Edge will be unveiled to the public for the first time on December 30, 2022, at the start of the Guangzhou Auto Show.
