Renault Kangoo - the facelift for the passengers’ version
by AllAutoExperts | 27 February, 2013
After presenting the facelift, applied to the utility version and to the electric versions ZE of the current Kangoo, the Renault returns today with proposed changes to derivative dedicated to the people's transport.
The passenger version gets a new front designed by the chief designer Laurens van den Acker - the front view is dominated by a new grille, with a larger logo and a spoiler different from the freight version. The grille now comes with the chrome finishes and glossy plastic, front lamps with black inserts, rear lights and redesigned side mirrors. The color list now totals eight shades of body colors.
Inside, the center console is redesigned and received a glossy plastic finish for the area, which houses the air conditioning system and the audio one. The old steering wheel has been replaced with that one of the Scenic model, and the upholstery from the old top version represents now the standard on the intermediate equipment level.
The list of optional extras includes a new ESC stability control system with features like Extended Grip and Hill Start. Is not lacking the new Renault R-Link multimedia system, the start-stop system, offered as a standard, and the audio system with radio, Bluetooth and USB support.
The engine range will include the dCi diesel, in 75, 90 or 110 horsepower versions, and a petrol engine Energy TCe of 115 horsepower.
