Peugeot Revealed New Advanced Tech Details About Its 2021 Peugeot 308

New Looks, advanced tech, and two plug-in hybrids were unveiled with the 2021 Peugeot 308 family. The hatchback is set to go on sale in Europe and other international markets, except for the US. They have a sporty style and future electrified powertrains.
The based platform is the third -generation of Stellanti's EMP2 which the wheel's base was enlarged by 55 mm and the manufacturer also dropped the height by 20 mm, creating a 308 with a much sleeker silhouette. And it's one of the 2021 models that will have the brand's new logo recently launched.
Each 2021 308 car comes with LED headlights to complement the vertical LED daytime running lights. All the headlights feature Peugeot Matrix LED Technology from previous GT and GT Premium of the 308 cars. The rear LED taillights to have the automaker's three-claw rear light signature.
The interior features the Peugeot's usual i-Cockpit design, including the 10-inch digital instrument cluster with a 3D feature from GT models. the infotainment system is also a 10-inch, configurable i-toggles positioned next to the central screen along with the redesigned air vents.
2021 Peugeot 308 will have two plug-in hybrid options - the base one will have the Hybrid 180 e-EAT8 combining a 150 hp engine with its 81kW electric motor and the Hybrid225 e-EAT8 pairing the 180 hp with the same electric motor. Both hybrids have a 12.4 kWh lithium-ion battery and give an extra mile range of up to 37 miles. The 308s will be available with a 1.2-liter Pure Tech 130 petrol engine and 1.5-liter BlueHDi 130 diesel engine.
The hatchback is offered a various color palette: Olivine Green, Bianca White, Cumulus Grey, Nera Black, Pearlescent White, Vertigo Blue, and Elixir Red. Also, there's a new i-Connect infotainment software package allowing eight different driver profiles and a wireless screen mirroring function. The purchase will be available at the end of the year.
