Opel Debuts New Experimental Concept
by AutoExpert | 5 September, 2023
Opel has just shown their Experimental concept at the Munich Motor Show, and it combines a sleek design with electric power. This design appears to be a sporty coupe-SUV with some interesting lighting characteristics.
The carmaker included the Opel Compass in both the front and back, which is primarily made up of thin, elegant lights. There's also a unique panel at the front that houses sensors and cameras.
Opel has put a lot of work into making the automobile flow smoothly through the air. Flaps, new wheels, and a stylish rear end design have been incorporated. They've even covered the top with solar panels, and the side windows are the same color as the car's body for a modern look.
They've gone all-in on the futuristic vibe on the inside. Instead of typical screens, holographic displays and a big head-up display have been used. The driver can control everything by speaking to the car and pressing buttons on the center console.
The steering wheel may even fold away when the car takes over driving, and the seats are quite comfortable with cool textiles that change colors. These textiles also illuminate to alert drivers to other vehicles in their blind spots.
Opel did not share all of the technical information, but they did say the car is electric and has all-wheel drive. The 2024 Renault Scenic E-Tech will have a range of up to 379 miles.
