Land Rover is honoring the world's most renowned spy with a special edition Defender inspired by his appearance in the latest James Bond film, "No Time To Die." Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Version is available as a Defender 110 or 90 and is motivated by the vehicles seen in the upcoming film. It is limited to only 300 units.
The Bond Edition features 22-inch Luna Gloss Black alloy wheels and Xenon Blue front brake calipers and is dressed in all black. In addition to the dark appearance, the SUV has a “Defender 007” insignia on the back, lighted treadplates, and a custom touchscreen startup motion. With unique 007 puddle lamp graphics, drivers walking to their black SUV at night will have some help spotting it. It will also feature an inscription that reads "One of 300" as well as an SV Bespoke logo.
Finbar McFall, Land Rover's brand director, remarked, "The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is a special take on the most ferocious production Defender ever manufactured, influenced by vehicles on-screen in No Time To Die."
It is a remarkable celebration of Land Rover's 38-year history with James Bond and signifies a confluence of two great British brands. It has a 5.0-liter V8 engine with no modifications that develops 518-hp (525 PS/386 kW) and 460 lb-ft (625 Nm) of torque, allowing the 90 variant to hit 60 mph in 4.9 secs and a max speed of 149 mph (240 km/h).
In addition to the Land Rover Defender, two Range Rover Sport SVRs, a Range Rover Classic, and a Land Rover Series III will all be seen in the new James Bond film, which will be released on September 30.
