Aston Martin Valhalla Production Slot Is Going For $1.2 Million

While Aston Martin has yet to begin Valhalla production, the plug-in hybrid supercar's production slot can currently be purchased in Germany. The slot is expected to be delivered by December 2023 and cost €1,189,999 ($1,210,437) total.
A Valhalla may be purchased at Auto Seredin in the German city of Hechingen. Not surprisingly, the slot costs almost $1.2 million, which is much more than the $580,000 base price. Due to high demand, the carmaker has decided to increase production of the Valhalla to 999 cars from the initial 500.
Since the Valhalla won't hit the assembly lines until 2023 at the earliest, the "Free Spec" label indicates that the customer has plenty of time and options to customize their vehicle. In 2019, Aston Martin unveiled the AM RB 003 concept, a mid-engined supercar that will sit below the premium Valkyrie. In 2021, the production version with all of the latest improvements was introduced.
Initial plans for an electric V6 were shelved in favor of a more up-to-date V8-based plug-in hybrid engine. The production-ready Aston Martin Valhalla has a 739-horsepower AMG-sourced twin-turbo V8 engine paired with two electric motors that provide an additional 201 horsepower. All four wheels get 937 horsepower of combined power from the car's eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Aston Martin claims a peak speed of 217 mph and an acceleration time of 2.5 seconds from 0-62 mph. The carbon-fiber chassis, F1-style pushrod suspension with adjustable dampers, active aerodynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a projected dry weight of 3,417 pounds are among the attractive characteristics.
