Kia released two high-quality for the 2021 K8 Sedan model which show in detail the car’s cockpit and its new features. The sedan is the first one to ‘wear’ the company’s rebranding logo and will help promote the automaker’s new future goals.
At a closer look, the centerpiece is a massive curved display, mounted on the top of the two-layer dashboard, which includes both a 12-inch infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster.
The Heating, Ventilation, And Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system are touchpad operated, which helped to reduce the old-school buttons. The three-spoke steering wheel is placed on the left side and has Kia’s new logo placed in the middle.
The new sedan’s center console has a shift-by-wire transmission dial, a drive-mode selector, two cup holders, and a small cubby which adds some extra storage place. There are also, buttons for both heated seats and steering wheel placed in the center of the center armrest.
A Meridian 14-speaker premium sound system is also one of the new features to Kia K8, amongst ambient lightning, wood surfaces inspired from modern yacht luxury interiors, high-quality metal trim, and the seats and the door cards are upholstered in Nappa leather with a diamond pattern on them.
Further details about the 2021 K8 Sedan will be announced officially later, this year. Until then we’ll have to look at the interior photos below.
