Nissan's All-New Qashqai 2022 Is The Ultimate SUV
by AutoExpert | 20 July, 2021
Early in 2022, the all-new Nissan Qashqai 2022 will arrive in Australia. Nissan unveiled the third-generation Qashqai earlier this year, and European orders have already begun.
It is a big improvement over its forerunner, and it should do well in Australia, where the previous model has positioned itself as the country's second best-selling mini SUV.
As Nissan Australia is yet to reveal details on the Qashqai for 2022, it has promised that it will be sold in eight colors and five two-tone combos (including a black roof with Ivory White paint, Ceramic Grey, Fuji Sunset Red, and Magnetic Blue). There will also be a Ceramic Grey roof with a Pearl Black body.
The all-new Qashqai 2022 is 35 mm longer, 32 mm wider, and 25 mm taller than the vehicle it replaces. In addition, the wheelbase has been lengthened by 20 mm.
Qashqai lineup in the UK starts with a mild-hybrid 1.3-liter DiG-T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 138 and 156 horsepower options. The internal combustion engine functions just like a generator in this mild-hybrid system, and it is not connected to the driven wheels. Although we'll have to wait for official confirmation, it's logical to presume that Australia will receive the same powertrain. Later this year, further local info about Qashqai 2022 is scheduled to be released.
