SEMA 2023 is right around the corner, and Nissan is giving us a sneak peek at the vehicles it's gearing up to showcase. A tough Rogue, a turbocharged Sentra DET concept model with race car inspiration, and two production models make up the lineup, which is exciting.
First on the list is the Project Rugged Rogue, based on the recently refreshed 2024 Rogue. This transformation takes the SUV and outfits it for off-road use.
It gets a boost from Nismo off-road components, including a three-inch suspension lift kit, fresh wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tires, a custom exhaust system, and carbon fiber fender extensions with a rear spoiler. To complete the look, there's a front bumper guard, hood-mounted driving lights, and racks on the roof for carrying kayaks and mountain bikes.
Now, shifting gears to the Sentra DET concept, it's a whole different story. This one takes inspiration from the race cars of the Sentra Cup and packs a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. While exact power figures remain under wraps, the sedan also gets a limited-slip differential, brakes upgraded from the Nissan Z, Recaro bucket seats, and Nismo wheels wrapped in Yokohama tires.
Enhancing the engine's sound and performance is a prototype Nismo cat-back exhaust system. In addition to these intriguing concepts, Nissan will also roll out two production models at SEMA 2023. The 2024 Z Nismo promises an upgraded powertrain delivering 420 horsepower, along with Nismo-tuned suspension and brakes. Meanwhile, the 2024 GT-R Nismo brings revised bodywork and a front limited-slip differential to the party.
