Nissan Presents Rugged Rogue And Turbocharged Sentra DET Concept At 2023 SEMA
by AutoExpert | 30 October, 2023
Just in time for SEMA 2023, Nissan is providing us with a preview of the automobiles it will be showcasing. The lineup is intriguing because it includes two production versions, a tough Rogue, and a turbocharged Sentra DET concept car.
Project Rugged Rogue, modeled by the 2024 Rogue that had a facelift not long ago, is up first. The SUV is modified to be suitable for off-road terrain.
Nismo off-road parts, such as a three-inch suspension lift kit, new wheels with Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tires, a modified exhaust system, and carbon fiber fender flares and a spoiler, give it an extra kick. Front bumper protection, driving lights positioned on the hood, and roof racks for mountain bikes and kayaks round out the design.
Turning to the Sentra DET concept, though, changes everything. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and six-speed manual transmission on this one are reminiscent of the Sentra Cup racing cars. Not much is known about the sedan's power output, but it does come with a limited-slip differential, improved brakes borrowed from the Nissan Z, Recaro bucket seats, and Nismo wheels shod in Yokohama rubber.
A prototype Nismo cat-back exhaust system improves the engine's sound and performance. Nissan will unveil two production vehicles at SEMA 2023, in addition to these fascinating prototypes. An enhanced 420-horsepower powerplant, Nismo-tuned suspension, and brakes are among the features promised by the 2024 Z Nismo. A front limited-slip differential and updated bodywork are additions to the 2024 GT-R Nismo's party.
