New Images Of Techrules GT96 Electric Supercar

Techrules has released some pictures of its production-spec Techrules GT96 Electric Supercar before its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
According to the pictures, GT96 features a design different from the concept. It has also got a fighter jet-Esque canopy roof, a central driving position, and massive central spin. The car has also got different driving positions, thanks to the flexibility of the chassis.

If the powertrain has been left unchanged, then there will be six electric traction motors with four driving the rear wheels and two powering the front. The car also features an advanced micro-turbine generator that will help to charge the battery pack. The car will be able to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). The power of the car will reach around 1,030 hp.

According to the chief technology officer of Techrules, Matthew Jin, they have worked closely with Giugiaro team on the design of GT96. They are excited about presenting China's first supercar in Geneva this spring. It has been their dream to launch a turbine-recharging electric vehicle.
