You read that correctly; the sticker price of the brand new Cadillac Optiq is $54,000. Well, let's see what the US-spec Optiq has to offer. To start with, the basic all-wheel drive system's two motors output roughly 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque.
Like other models on the Ultium platform, this one has an 85-kWh battery pack that should provide a range of 300 miles. Cadillac withheld other details but confirmed that a DC fast charger can charge the vehicle up to a maximum of 79 miles in just 10 minutes.
The new crossover exhibits design cues similar to the Lyriq, such as a fixed glass top, a choreographed lighting sequence, and a black crystal grille. Cadillac provided a few more details about the vehicle. The model also has distinctive features, including acoustic laminated back quarter glass and flush-mounted door handles.
The new Cadillac Optiq features a 33-inch display that incorporates Google, drawing design cues from the Lyriq. The vehicle boasts first-in-class cargo capacity and second-row spaciousness, in addition to a 19-speaker AKG audio system. Along with a combination of leather and cloth upholstery, we can make out metallic details.
Adaptive cruise control, blind zone steering aid, adaptive cruise control, and front collision warning are just a few of the driver assistance features that come standard on this model. This fall, production will begin on the 2025 Cadillac Optiq, which will be available in both luxury and Sport trim levels. In addition to its debut in China one month ago, the crossover will be available in Europe. We will reveal more details about the US-spec variant closer to launch.
