Porsche enthusiasts from all over the world can't wait for the new, 2017 Porsche Panamera! Previously we teased you with some spy photos of the new car, but unfortunately, only its exterior was displayed.
Brand new spy photos were released to the internet, showing the 2017 Panamera while undergoing some tests in the US. At last, now we can gaze upon the interior of the new, 2017 Porsche Panamera.
It really is what you'd expect from a Porsche: high-quality materials and driver-focused, luxurious design. From the driver's perspective, you'll notice that the dashboard has changed, but it kept the key Porsche design features. In the center we have an analog tachometer tucked between two digital displays.
Following the ever-growing trend of big screens, the designers also decided to replace the old infotainment system and install a larger touchscreen display. Moving downwards we see an entirely modified central console, without the traditional rows of buttons, but with capacitive-touch sensors instead. The shifter is also different from what we are used to seeing, looking nice nonetheless.
The 2017 Porsche Panamera will have less weight, due to the new MSB platform that it's on, which is made out of an array of lightweight materials like aluminum, high-strength steel, and different lightweight composites. Some sources state that the car will weigh 200 pounds less than its predecessor.
Rumor has it that the 2017 Porsche Panamera will have under its bonnet a new generation of V6 and V8 engines. The new Panamera is planned to be shown this year, at Geneva Motor Show.
