This Is The Nebula, An Art Vehicle Concept Based On The Porsche 928

The Porsche Nebula art car, developed by artists Daniel Arsham and Khyzyl Saleem, was unveiled at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. The car is a modern interpretation of what the Porsche 928 might have looked like had it continued production.
The car's name, "Nebula," is derived from Latin, meaning "cloud" or "mist," which describes the organic shapes that dominated car design in the early 2000s.
The design features Y2K-era details, such as the circular blobbing pattern seen in the front bumper, fog lamps, and turn signal combo, which were reminiscent of the "dot-com" age. The color of the car is a metallic mauve, which was also popular at the time. Meanwhile, the interior features a unique dividing nucleus theme seen in the door speakers and steering wheel.
Although some design elements may not be aesthetically pleasing to everyone, they are considered period-correct for the time. In all honesty, did it make you miss the past?
