Mercedes-Benz is about to give up on the famous 5.5-liter V8 engine!

The performance Division of the Mercedes-Benz, AMG, confessed in an interview that the drive 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo approach with small but firm steps, to the end of their careers!
Well this will not happen overnight even as support the journalists from Autocar, but over the next few years. Especially, at least until 2016 V8 still has chances to life especially that to be installed on the new S63 AMG Convertible that will debut in 2016!
Its place will be taken by the current range V8 with a working volume of 4.0 liters, found under the bonnet and the AMG models C63 AMG GT! Behold, slowly, and Mercedes-Benz is forced to abandon the huge engines.
