Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S Now Has 490 Horsepower Thanks To VATH

Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S has just received upgrades from German tuner VATH, making it even more impressive without altering its original form too much.
VATH focused on the vehicle's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, increasing its power output from 422 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque to 490 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque through an ECU software update, a stainless steel downpipe, and a rear silencer.
The intercooler has also been enlarged, resulting in improved performance. The upgrades are relatively minor but have made the compact crossover even more compelling. Still, the tuner has fitted 20x9-inch alloy wheels with 255mm section tires on all four corners, which is the only visible modification on the SUV's exterior.
VATH has also installed solid steel braided brake lines in the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S to improve pedal feel and make it more suitable for track use or driving on winding roads. Additionally, the tuner has added sport springs that slightly lower the vehicle's ride height.
