The Italians are preparing the debut of a new supercar called Evantra, in honor of the so-called Etruscan goddess of immortality, for Top Marques exhibition in April 2013 which will take place in Monaco.
Mazzanti's new product will get an aggressive look thanks to LED headlights and body elements made of carbon fiber and aluminum. The chassis is made with a chrome-molybdenum compound, which structurally reinforces the car for better protection of passengers.
The mechanical heart hidden under the hood of Evantra is a 7 l aspirated V8 engine, made of aluminum, capable of developing 701 hp at 6,600 rpm and maximum torque of 848 Nm at 4,500 RPM. These numbers allow it to achieve the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of over 350 km h, on top of which you can add a sequential six-speed gearbox and a weight of only 1.300 kg.
The exotic model will be produced in only five copies per year, each individually customized according to customer requirements. The design aims to achieve a balance between classic and modern with a typica Italian identity.
