Mahindra's Newest Scorpio-N Is Called 'The Big Daddy' Of SUVs
by AutoExpert | 24 May, 2022
For the first time, Mahindra has unveiled official images of the Scorpio-N, the company's upcoming midsize SUV, which will make its Indian debut on June 27. The Scorpio-N is a significant improvement over its predecessor in terms of design, appearing sleek and contemporary.
The Scorpio-N is built on an in-house designed body-on-frame chassis. With the new platform, we should expect major advancements in terms of both safety and technological capabilities.
It retains the traditional off-roader dimensions, but it has been restyled to sport a more muscular appearance. LED headlights, a new grille, a more visible step on the window line, and a pair of Volvo-style taillights are among the innovative features. Mahindra did not reveal any images of the interior but called it "luxury" and guaranteed cutting-edge technology.
The Scorpio-N will be available with either a manual or automatic gearbox with a selection of gasoline or diesel engines. According to local reports, it could be powered by 2.0-liter petrol and 2.2-liter turbodiesel engines previously available in the XUV700 and Thar. As the launch date of the Mahindra Scorpio-N draws near, we'll have more information to share.
