In a previous article, we said that Lexus will focus more on sports cars, cars that appeal to emotions, and that bring more pleasure while driving and the new Lexus LF-C2 is no exception.
Presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Lexus LF-C2 is actually a Concept of the future RC Convertible version.
Jeff Bracken, head of design of the Lexus, said that this concept represents the future of Lexus design and emotions and primarily expresses a passion for cars.
The concept is built according to formula 2 + 2 and measures 4.715 m long, 1.840 meters wide and 1.385 meters high, virtually identical to the sizes of the RC model. The most extravagant element is the lack of a roof but it is more likely that the mass production version will have a ceiling.
Other distinctive elements of the concept are the front and rear headlights equipped with LED technology also used for interior lighting in blue color, a large grille, and bumpers with enormous vents that give the car an aggressive look.
It remains to be seen whether the extraordinary design, very bright shades of paint, and spotted rims will charm and convince the loyal customers of other brands, such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi!
