Thanks to a collection of leaked pictures, we now have an intriguing first look at the forthcoming 2024 VW Tiguan. Three intriguing snapshots, shared in the Facebook group MQB-Coding & Retrofit, give us a closer look at the Tiguan.
Although the official debut is just around the corner later this year, the new Tiguan is set to hit markets in Europe and Australia in 2024. Interestingly, it won't be making its way to the U.S. market.
Zooming in on the leaked exterior images, we get a crystal-clear view of the Tiguan's sleek front end, featuring a wide lower grille and a narrow upper grille. The grille appears to be a smooth illuminated panel that seamlessly connects with the darkened headlight units.
Moreover, we see a graceful pair of creases over the front and rear wheel wells, accompanied by a gently rising waistline. The back of the vehicle stands out with a substantial plastic panel that harmoniously links the two taillights.
Inside, the standout features include the impressive 15-inch tablet touchscreen and the gear shifter conveniently positioned on the stalk. A noteworthy change is the departure from the traditional console shifter. In its place, we find the intriguing Driving Experience Switch, which seems to blend BMW's iDrive controller with a classic drive mode selector dial.
This versatile switch allows for easy adjustments to various car settings. By twisting the dial and pressing its center, you can do everything from adjust the radio volume to fine-tune the all-wheel drive system, powertrain behavior, and more. It's like having a command center right at your fingertips!
