Leaked Images Reveal Jeep Electric Wagoneer S

Jeep's accidental reveal on social media has given us an early look at the production-ready electric Wagoneer S, set to hit the US market in the fall. Following the styling cues of the 2022 concept, the leaked images showcase an unmistakable Range Rover Velar influence.
Originally teased as the Wagoneer S, this electric SUV is expected to be sold exclusively as an electric vehicle in the United States, with other markets also in line to receive this emission-free variant of the iconic Wagoneer.
The STLA Large Platform will serve as the Wagoneer S's foundation, and it will have dual motors with a combined 600 horsepower. Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, this SUV will emphasize instantaneous torque. Notably, the platform supports a variety of battery configurations, ranging from 85 to 118 kWh, offering the potential for an impressive 500-mile range.
However, the increased weight of SUVs might slightly impact the Wagoneer S's efficiency compared to sedans built on the same platform. Jeep's parent company, Stellantis, plans to lead the electric charge, with eight EV models from five brands hitting the market by 2026. The STLA Large Platform, designed for segments D and E, will not only support all-electric models like the Wagoneer S but also combustion engines and hybrid powertrains.
The company emphasizes over-the-air updates, ensuring continuous improvements in the Wagoneer S's performance. As Jeep enters the electric frontier with the Wagoneer S, it sets the stage for a new era of emission-free SUVs, combining iconic design with cutting-edge electric technology. While details like pricing and the precise release date in Europe remain undisclosed, global anticipation for the Jeep Electric Wagoneer S is certainly on the rise.
