San Jose del Guaviau, Colombia-based enthusiast has developed a monstrous off-road vehicle based on a Soviet Niva model. In addition to larger wheels and off-road gear, the vehicle fanatic developed possibly the most unusual Niva in existence. So the Russian SUV got a rear axle, a KIA-badged 2.5-liter diesel engine, and a Land Cruiser 80-style transmission.
The Columbian was inspired by a three-door Lada Niva built in 1977, specifically by the bodywork. He had to construct the three-axle chassis himself. The entire car is built around a unique frame, with the two rear axles providing traction rotating in lockstep.
The suspension has been altered, presumably to an off-road one, resulting in a significant increase in ground clearance. Besides, the wheels were removed from a Land Cruiser 80. Lada Niva was also equipped with aggressive steel bumpers, a built-in winch, LED headlamps, and an enlarged wheel arch.
