Jumping To 60 MPH Takes 1.9 Seconds In GAC Aion Hyper SSR EV

GAC, a Chinese automaker, has published a slew of information and images for its newly launched Aion Hyper SSR, a powerful all-electric hypercar. Two electric motors provide propulsion for the Aion Hyper SSR, which results in over 1,225 horsepower and 8,850 pound-feet of torque.
Besides stating that it is an NCM lithium-ion pack, GAC has been mum on the exact dimensions of the vehicle's battery pack. This makes it difficult to estimate how far a single charge will take the vehicle. One thing we do know is that the GAC Aion Hyper SSR is moving very fast, reaching 62 miles per hour in only 1.9 seconds.
The car's stunning good looks are just as important as its mind-blowing performance. The body is built out of carbon fiber. At the front of the vehicle is a set of modern headlights that also function as daytime running lights thanks to LED technology. The automobile has GAC's frameless 'Sky' doors, and the company has also designed turbine-inspired wheels with carbon fiber inlays.
LED taillights and a rear wing that deploys at high speeds to improve downforce are also present. The hypercar's interior is fascinating as well. It has exposed tubular structures all around and bi-level instrument panels. The manufacturer has also included a racing-style steering wheel.
In addition to the conventional digital instrument cluster, which is 8.8 inches in size, there is a massive 14.6-inch infotainment screen. The base price of an GAC Aion Hyper SSR has been announced by the automaker to be 1.286 million Chinese Yuan ($181,000), while the SSR Ultimate will set you back a minimum of 1.688 million Yuan ($238,000).
