Italian Race Car Rolled Out – Meet ATS Corsa RR Turbo Serie Carbonio
by AutoExpert | 28 July, 2021
ATS is an Italian company that has previously signed RR Turbo Club Sport and GT sportscar. Now it comes with something new: ATS Corsa RR Turbo Serie Carbonio – a lightweight, yet powerful alternative.
This edition is based on a tubular frame featuring an FIA-approved roll cage. It runs on a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged mid-mounted dry-sump engine, delivering 414 hp (Sport mode) and 592 hp (Corsa mode). The engine is paired with a 6-speed sequential gearbox, sending all that power to the rear wheels.
The meaner looks of ATS Corsa RR Turbo Serie Carbonio are mostly owed to new body panels. The carbon fiber also contributes to a much lighter weight of 825 kg, which is 40 kg lighter than Club Sport.
The car is set to take part in VLN, International Endurance Series, 24h Series, International Hill Climb Championship E2SH. Prices start at EUR 136.6k and EUR 164.7K, plus taxes.
