The 2021 Enyaq iV is expected to reach the dealerships this year, and Recently, Skoda announced new details about adding the ‘50’ moniker to its name and will be now 2021Enyaq iV 50.
The electric vehicle has great tech specs and promises to be the most affordable EV released by Skoda. The manufacturer managed to propose the price of the car for $28,861 and that by factoring it in a state subsidy and manufacturer incentives.
This is a lower price comparing to the Skoda Kodiaq mid-size crossover which has a starting price of $35,680. Powered with a 55kWh battery which delivers 146HP and 220 Nm of torque. The electric motor gives the driver a maximum of 362-miles range on the WLTP cycle.
At a closer look, the exterior shows a standard gear which includes the LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch wheels, two-zone climate control, multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel, electrically adjustable side mirrors, Virtual Cockpit, 10-inch infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, MirrorLink, Bluetooth, DAB digital radio, two USB-C ports, and MySkoda app remote functionality.
There’s the host of the driver assistance gear, front radar assists with pedestrian and cyclist detection, autonomous emergency braking, lane department warning, speed limiter, traffic sign recognition, and collision avoidance assist.
So far, the Enyaq iV50 is a great catch with plenty of features for a lower price. And the lineup also includes the 60 and 80versions for the German market for higher prices of $46,275 and $52,350.
