Recently, in San Francisco, a 1697 Ferrari 330 P4 went on the market. This specific car was custom built by Jim Carpenter Italian Design & Racing, a workshop that is well known for building custom specs Ferrari.
This 330P4 pays tribute to #23 Ferrari P4 that won the Dayton 24 hours race back in 1967. Actually the car is based on a 1965 Ferrari 330GT to which the tuners added race exhaust with silencers.
The power comes from the original 4.0-liter engine that unleashes 340 hp coupled to a G50 5-speed manual transmission which has no issues handling this herd. The suspension was made of 308 different components and specially designed prices. They removed the original body and built a new one made of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass all hand laid.
This replica was good enough to be used by Ferrari in a photoshoot celebrating the race-winning car. Best of all, the replica is registered as a 1965 Ferrari 330 and is legal on the streets. The price of this 330P4 is $199,999.
