Introducing The Fiat Argo Endurance: All-Terrain Ready With Affordable Price Tag
by AutoExpert | 28 August, 2024
Fiat's updated Argo has just launched in Brazil. Fiat designed this new version, the Argo Endurance, specifically for farm use, to compete with the VW Polo Robust. The Argo Endurance has 15-inch wheels with 205/60 R15 all-terrain tires, as well as underbody protection to protect the crankcase on rough terrain.
It sits higher than the regular Argo thanks to Trekking’s suspension. With 7.3 inches of ground clearance, it offers a 20.5º approach angle and a 33º departure angle.
These stats make it suitable for light off-roading compared to other compact SUVs. A 1.3-liter Firefly Flex engine powers the Fiat Argo Endurance, producing 106 horsepower and 99 lb-ft of torque. It can run on both gasoline and ethanol.
A five-speed manual transmission sends power to the front wheels. Inside, the cabin is simple. Standard features include a 3.5-inch trip computer display, air conditioning, front electric windows, remote locks, and an anti-theft alarm. The Comfort Pack adds parking sensors, fog lights, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a USB charging outlet.
The Fiat Argo Endurance is now the most affordable compact hatchback with the 1.3-liter engine, priced at R$ 79,990 ($14,545). The Argo Trekking, which has the same engine and transmission but more features, starts at R$ 95,990 ($17,448).
