Improved Jaguar F-Pace Now Has A PHEV Range Of 40 Miles
by AutoExpert | 15 December, 2022
The revised Jaguar F-Pace P400e plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) has become significantly more practical as a result of its newly installed 19.2 kWh battery pack.
This has resulted in a 20 percent increase in driving range, which translates to a WLTP-certified maximum of 40 miles of near-silent operation. In comparison, the previous model's hybrid-assisted 2.0-liter four-cylinder powerplant was rated at the same 398 horsepower, but it could only go 33 miles.
The improvement is only one of many enhancements that Jaguar's SUV will get for the 2024 model year. Also, to make it simpler for customers to choose the right F-Pace, Jaguar has reduced the number of available models to only the R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE Black, R-Dynamic HSE Black, 400 Sport, and SVR.
As a reminder, all Jaguar F-Pace models come standard with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The top-of-the-line SVR model, meanwhile, is the only one to incorporate Jaguar's 542 horsepower 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine.
