Hyundai's Tucson 'Beast' Was Designed For The 'Uncharted' Movie
by AutoExpert | 2 February, 2022
Hyundai has unveiled the Tucson "Beast" concept, which will appear in the next "Uncharted" film. A variety of off-road-focused alterations have been made to the production-spec Tucson to give it a sturdier and more credible appearance.
The car was developed in partnership with Sony Pictures by the team at Hyundai Design and Technical Center in Irvine, California. The front protective bull bar, added LED bars, a snorkel, a unique roof rack, side steps, and bolt-on fenders for a daring style are all different from the ordinary C-SUV. Toyo's Nitto A/T tires are mounted on black-finished steel wheels, and the suspension appears to be lifted to allow for more ground clearance.
Sony Pictures' "Uncharted" will be released in theaters on February 11 in the United Kingdom and February 18 in the United States. The film is based on the famous PlayStation video games, which feature a treasure hunter organizing a robbery. Tom Holland will play Nathan Drake, with Mark Wahlberg (Victor "Sully" Sullivan) and Antonio Banderas (Moncanda).
