Hyundai's Santa Fe portfolio is growing for 2022, with the addition of a rugged-looking XRT model. The new XRT is modeled on the Santa Fe SEL with the Convenience Kit and boasts deep silvery skid plates and plastic body wrapping.
Designers also inserted a matte black nose, black mirror caps, and black roof rails into the combo. They're accompanied by side steps and special black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Hyundai did not say much about the vehicle, although it does sport a 12.3-inch instrument panel cluster and an 8-inch navigation system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a wireless phone charger, and an eight-way power driver's seat are among the other features.
A dual-zone adjustable climate control system, a 4.2-inch multi-information display, and a smart key with push-button activation make the perfect mix.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection are among the driver assistance systems available. Lane Keeping Assist and Rear Occupant Alert accompany them.
Santa Fe XRT has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder motor that produces 191 hp (142 kW / 194 PS) and 181 lb-ft (247 Nm) of torque and costs $32,300. It's mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that can be upgraded to include an all-wheel drive for an extra $1,700.
