Hyundai Grand Creta Is A Three-Row Vehicle Designed For The South African Market

In South Africa, Hyundai is increasing its inventory with the new three-row Grand Creta, a tiny, affordable crossover. The seven-seat small crossover is built on the same chassis as other Hyundai vehicles, including the Venue, which is sold in the United States. The carmaker, on the other hand, only sells the Hyundai Grand Creta in two-row configurations in the United States.

Hyundai Grand Creta's length and wheelbase have been increased thanks to a revised K2 chassis. The carmaker was able to add two more seats behind the second row given the extra space. Behind the third row, the Grand Creta has 6.3 cubic feet (180 cubic liters) of cargo space, which expands to a massive 58.9 cubic feet (1,670 cubic liters) when all the seats are folded down.

A naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 156 hp (117 kW) and 140 lb-ft (191 Nm) of torque powers the vehicle. A 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine with 113 hp (85 kW) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque is also possible. The base model comes with a six-speed manual transmission, but a six-speed automatic is optional.

The Grand Creta will be available in two trim levels: Executive and Elite. Both are well-equipped, with a comprehensive list of standard features. An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging, a rear camera are all standard on the Hyundai Executive. It has LED headlights and 17-inch rims on the exterior.

Wider 18-inch wheels, push-button start, a panoramic sunroof, parking sensors, and other features are available on the Elite. A 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a motorized driver's seat are also standard on the Grand Greta Elite. The fold-down trays for second-row passengers are the most convenient feature. The crossover is equipped with MacPherson struts in the front and a linked torsion beam axle in the rear. Another advantage of the Elite grade is its driving modes: Snow, Mud, Sand, Eco, Sport, and Normal. When it comes to crossovers, Hyundai Grand Creta illustrates that they're still popular.
