To be fair, they've set the record among the hydrogen-powered vehicles. And that is truly amazing!
Usually, when you hear World Speed record you think of thousands of horsepower supercars that can drive only in straight lines. This time the Tucson set the record for the fastest production vehicle powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.
It achieved a speed of 96.4 mph while being all silent and producing water! This might not be such an exciting record but it proves that the future belongs to zero-emissions vehicles.
